My passion is creating the right user experience that is enjoyable and usable for everyone.
About Charity
I started my career as a Combat Photographer and Videographer in the United States Army. This is where I found my calling to make products easy for people to use. So, I stopped hanging out of helicopters to take pictures and hung up my boots. I’m now a certified user experience designer by Nielsen Norman Group (NN/g) and Google for user experience design, specializing in interaction design.
During my 20 years of taking the most complex information and deciphering it into intuitive designs, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide range of company profiles, such as
• ExxonMobil
• National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
• KBR
• Small startup companies (we all must start somewhere and dream big!)
• AT&T
• Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield
• Nuclear Regulatory Commission
I firmly believe UX is integral to successful project development, adaptability, and customer satisfaction. I’ve had the honor of leading numerous teams, both domestically and internationally, on various projects with prosperous global impacts.
When I’m not crafting easy-to-use interfaces, I spend time at home in Texas with my husband, three kids, and my medley of animals: ducks, chickens, dogs, and spoiled rotten pet pig.
